how to have a comfortable living?

Hi guys, I am planning for doing 1 year PG in jan 15 and have narrowed down to 3 colleges Sheridan,Humber or GBC. However, focusing on the main point I want your advise whether it is beneficial to stay on campus or off campus. I have never stayed in small rooms nor I have lived in dormitory.
I would like to know how much is a reasonable cost to stay in 1 room with a kitchen and bathroom or shall I prefer to stay with a roommate . This would be the first time I would be moving out of my house to be honest and directly into a new country due to which my family especially my mom is worried about the accommodation and food.
So please advise which one would be a better option.

How about home stay such that the host would provide you accommodation and cooked food?

hi ,

Go To Kijiji.ca and there you will find lot of option for accommodation. Go for sharing room or paying guest option. PG will pay max $450 includes food, internet, laundry, etc. and in sharing you will get room approx. $300 . If you are going for basement it will cost around$800.
