Hello All,

I received my ITA on March 6th, 2017 and submitted my file on April 11th, 2017. Since then I haven't heard anything. My work permit is going to expire on 11th June, 2017 so I already applied for BOWP on April 13th, 2017 but haven't heard anything yet.

As my WP is expiring on 11th, my SIN Validity is up to same date, so my employer was asking me to provide new validity date for my SIN. I have no clue how to extend validity of SIN, has anybody experience same thing.??

Please help.

You can not extend your SIN validity until you have valid Immigration Document (Study Permit, Work Permit, PR)
You need to wait for BOWP/PR in order to extend validity.

@RiZ92: Thanks for your reply, but my employer was asking about that...once my WP is expired I will be in Implied status and continue work with same organisation right. So what should I say to my employer.

Under Implied status you are eligible to work and you will get your salary as well. No issues. Tell your employer that you are fine until either BOWP or PR comes.
