How to cancel BOWP application

Can anyone please advice, how to cancel my BOWP application(paper application) since I finished my landing part of my PR application.
I couldn't get hold of CIC agents through phone.

Did u apply online ? If you did, then logon to MyCIC account and where you'll see the application number, there must be an option : Withdraw. Click that and you're done.

After the application is withdrawn successfully , request a refund by following instructions on this link : http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=619&top=4

Thanks for your advice. I submitted paper based application. But paid my fee via credit card and I have receipt. Do u think I can follow the same method that u have mentioned to get the refund?

I dont know if there is a way to cancel a paper application, because there is no application number, you can try calling CIC in the morning 7:50 am, its less wait time then, You may also try to request a refund using the receipt number using the instructions I sent and it might in turn cancel your BOWP application.
