hi all friends:

I landed 29 dec 2015 and become PR and applied new sin which start from 6 and got it 30 Dec
Before I was work permit and my sin was start 9

my question: do i need to tell my employer please issue my T4 with new sin no or old sin

also my income total 18000+ for 2015 and I paid tax 3000+ and I am married and send money for my wife she is in India

so how much i can get return 2500+

You need to give your new SIN to your employer. It will stay linked to your old SIN so CRA will have both on file for you.

It's possible to claim a non-resident spouse who lives in another country for a tax credit, however it's not easy as you may need to submit lots of additional proofs and evidence to CRA. Recommend you get an accountant experienced in such matters to help you with your taxes. Here is a bit of info on the subject:
