How much bank loan is needed ??

Hi guys..

I am all set to apply for the Niagara college, after getting an offer letter from them..my questio is ho much bank loan would I need ??

tuition fees / year = c$ 13203 ..its a 2 year programme.


also please tell me that is the bank loan enough or I also have to show my/my dad's other bank balance ??

So in any case even if student have got lot of liquid money he/she has to avail an education loan. The Education loan shd be 80% of the total expenses for first year. On a general view the fees for one year for any program is around 12,000 CAD and living expenses are about 10,000 CAD so the total expenses are around 22,000 CAD on these terms the student have to avail an education loan of about 80% that is around 8 lacs INR. So an education loan of 8 lacs INR plus 3-4 lacs INR will be a perfect for SPP. Also a student requires to show only education loan for meeting the expenses of first year of study only means even if you are going for a 4 year program you have to show an education loan of 8 lacs INR only.

Advance paid fees

+ 8000$ living cost( as per spp checklist)

+ air fair

=total loan

Ok guys confuison is still there..I have been to my consultant and she says that since its a two years diploma..I have to show two years fee and living expenses..that comes around 15 lc rs. and i am getting only a ten lac rs. loan. Please suggest me what shall I do.

First Year Tuition + 10000 C$ for living + 3000 C$ for traveling......

^^ right Momi...thats what I have reading all this while..that the length of the programme doesnt matter , even its a 3 year ,2 year or 1 year programme we have to show only 1 year tution fee..but the consultant has really got me confused now..I have just 20-25 days left to pay the first term fees...and now she says we need: c$13203 x 2 + c$10000 + c$3000. :-\

perhaps your consultant needs to check the checklist of studypermit.
I You have 2 options.
either
(1) believe in your consultant
or
(2) believe in checklist of CHC

BY THE WAY, I AM BIT CONFUSED BETWEEN NIAGARA AND SENECA COLLEGE. i HAVE OFFERS FROM BOTH BUT IAM KINDA INTERESTED IN NIAGARA . WHAT SAY?????
IS NIAGARA A GOOD ONE AND HOW ABT THE CHANCES OF VISA IF WE GO THRU NIAGARA????????????
I DO THE CHANCES ARE SAME WHATEVR THE COLLEGE BUT I HEARD FROM SOME PEOPLE SAYING SENECA GIVES YOUR VISA A BIT PRIORITY . IS THAT TRUE.....?

Hi abhi. I think both the coleges are good. and there is no such thing that seneca would give you an edge over niagara for visa. Only thing matters is that the colleges is listed under SPP and is public institution. thats all that helps in visa. as far as my selection of Niagara is concerned..I chose it bcoz...I found the fees to be a bit cheaper( not a huge difference though) and the relevancy of my course..i am doing hospitality manage,ment, thus Niagara is well suited for me as it is located in the heart of the tourist destination and has a great track record of placement in hotel industry. Other eason was the beatiful location (Niagara on the lake, the falls). PM me if you decide to select Niagara. i am gong for septamber intake

I know..but as you know..I am thinking of not listening to her and go ahead with 1 year tution fees...lets see what happens. BTW is there any link where I can see the checklist myself ? so that i can also show her this information ?

Does hdfc provide edu loan itself or through Credila?
Which banks provide education loan at 90% of FD?
