how much amount do i need to show??

Dear Friends, i am Pakistani National but living in London for 2 n half years, i want to apply for Ontario, CA from here.
*) My query is that how much amount do i need to show in my bank account if i apply for PG diploma for 2years in a college, and i will pay around $7000 fee i.e. for 1st year.
*) Secondly can i show the property docs of around Pak Rs.18m = $197800 which is on my family name i.e. not on my name? Will it be acceptable if its on my Uncle (brother of my father) name??
*) The statement which i'll prepare will be from Pakistan Bank, so will it be acceptable if i apply from here?

Requirements for finances are:
first year fee + $10000 - $12000 for first year expenses + $3000 traveling and other expenses

So, on avg you should have approx $20,000/- plus to show as instant/liquid cash. This can be done through your own account (highly recommended if you are doing job), your father's account (if you are a continuing student) and least recommended is uncle's account.

I think, it should be acceptable from Pakistan as well.

If u are not a permanent resident of UK then try to apply from Pakistan, it will increase ur home ties and level of establishment in home country so in result visa chances will be increased...

Thanks billad for ur reply this will really help me n yes i will show that all as a instant cash in my personal account and additionally i want to show the property docs as well that's y i asked that whether we can show that on uncle's name as well?? The reason i am want to show these is just b/c i am not applying from my home country, am applying from London so this might eliminate the refusal of "you will not come back". This is being recommended to me by some seniors from the same forum. So is it ok?

@momi: Thanks for ur help too, but momi CHC islamabad is taking 5-6 months processing time where as in london its b/w 6-10 weeks, this is the reason i want to show some family property, so can u recommend me how it can make my case strong from london? please.

You can try by showing property and blood relations in Pakistan...........

If your uncle is a sponsor then it will weaken your case more, Uncle as a sponsor is less preferred, First Parents then siblings and then Uncle, but you can take a chance by showing Family registration certificate ......

uncle's property for the sake of ties to the home country is not at all recommended. It will help only if he is a sponsor and this will serve the financial part of your application, not more than that.

NADRA Pakistan, Check it if you can get it from London Pakistan High commission ..........

i really appreciate ur reply thanks, i can change the deed of property to my father name but it will cost around 3lac in Pakistan that's y i was thinking to show that on my uncle's name!!
And what if i dont show any property docs, is their any alternative to convince VOC that i will come back after my studies....??

Your Blood relations , your Parents business , Your Job (Which is not possible i think)..............
