How many points of experience

I have submitted my documents at new delhi in jan 2011.
Till now e-case is just received by visa office.
At that time I have 3.5years experience.
Now I have 5 year experience in same company.
If i send updated experience letter now how many points I will get for my experience?
will they consider 3 year or 4 year experience?

if you update whole your documents you will get maximum point for work experience otherwise you take last point.

I think u will be awarded points corresponding to the work experience u had at the time of submission of full docs to VO. YES,if u are asked to submit fresh docs then only the poits will be recalculated accordingly.Dettermination of ur eligibility is basically done at quantitative check stage.

Did they ask you to send updated documents? Many older applicants around your time were asked. If 'YES', then upon submission of updated documents, you will get 21 points for 4 years , which is the maximum points.

If 'NO, they didn't ask for updates', still if you send them the updated reference letter/experience letter, you may/may not be awarded 4 years points. It's not for sure. But you will definitely be getting points for 3 years (19 points). Most probably in this situation you will be assessed based on information at the time of application. However, you can write an explanation letter and request them to consider the additional work experience gained between time of application and current date.
