Hi,
I have been working for 7+ years. I have been working as 'associate tech lead' for the last one and a half year (NOC - 0213) and before that as a software Engineer for 6 years (So totally 7+ years).

I can prove I have some work experience related to 'Information Technology manager for the last one year' (NOC 0213).
But before that I was a software Engineer (NOC 2173) for 6 years.
So how many points can I count for experience. I have no Idea where to look exactly for skill Level A and B.
as per my understanding the CIC web site says, if you have experince in skill type A or B , you can count points. Since I have 7+ years experience
can I count a total of 21 points for experience.

Can you please shed some light.

thanks in advance

What are NOC Skill Types and Skill Levels?

The first digit of the NOC code identifies the Skill Type of an occupation.
•1 corresponds to Skill Level A
•2 or 3 correspond to Skill Level B
•4 or 5 correspond to Skill Level C
•6 corresponds to Skill Level D
Skill Level A represents occupations usually requiring university education. Skill Level B refers to occupations usually requiring college education or apprenticeship training.
