There are many factors that go into the decision once the application is received. As to your question it's hard to say. You would be better to check with the wait time is according the the website using the visa office you applied to. Also if you got confirmation they received your application there should be a number which you can use to follow the process online. It will tell you at which step your application is at.

It has no vearing on your visa.Some medicals have expired and still no answer and had to redo medical,so a medical has no bearing on the timeline,but they do try to get it done before it expires.
