How long for PPR when file is in a final review? Please help

Dear All,

We are FSW-O living in the UK. It has been a year since AOR. My family and I passed everything, and in February 12th our medical got extended as well.

When I called CIC, they said your application is awaiting a review of an officer. They refused to give me any other details... It was all like: Application is awaiting review and we will contact you if there is anything.

Visa office is Ottawa.

My question is: How long does it usually take? How long is the wait between this kind of reviews and the PPR?

The reason I am asking is that I was informed that application is awaiting review back in January. So it is almost two months now. I passed security, meds were extended..etc

I really appreciate anyone shedding some lights on this from your experience or any similar cases you have heard of.

do you have any further update. I am in almost same boat. I have called helpdesk & has been told that recently all including "eligibility, criminality and backgroud" all cleared for application & application is currently under review. I am not sure what is in review if all of these steps are cleared. any advise or insight on the situation. Much appreciated.

This question stands. Same situation here. My file is awaiting final review by an officer.
I know the situation is a bit different. But I'd greatly appreciate it if anyone could chip in on this.
