How long does it take CPP-O to stamp PR visas?

We have to reach out to someone who can help us ... Other wise we might be stuck for months .

There are lots of possibilities.

1-Either Passports are misplaced.
2-Additional background checks .
3-Holding passports for PNP Applicants
4-Passports lost
5-Visa officer assigned to work on our PP is not available right now.

yes, that's why I hope someone living in Ottawa could go and talk to them, or maybe we can get their phone number through CIC call center. Even if we can find a good Mp to help us, it still takes months for MP to contact CIC and resolve the problem

The thing is, CPP-Ottawa is not open for public, and call-center would not disclose their phone number (imagine the volume of calls they will receive ). I tried, to no avail. You can try again tomorrow, and let us know how it goes (if, somehow, you do get their phone number, don't spread it around, just call them on others' behalf; we don't want them to be even more backlogged [thus, delaying our processing even further]).

MINE IS PNP I GOT MY NOMINATION LAST JUNE 12, 2012 AND I FILED MY PR APPLICATION LAST SEPT 14 2012, AND MY PASSPORT IS ON THE WAY TODAY MAY 9, 2013. DON'T GIVE UP IT WILL COME SOON LET'S PRAY TOGETHER!
