How long does it take after medical(singapore)

Hi everyone..
I finished medical in 04 nov,14
I also paid my RPRF fee via online.
Now waiting for requestin passport.
Do u know how long does it take after medical?

no one can predict about this matter. i have been waiting since October 24, 2014, that day my medical was received by cic.

Hi,

I believe we are on the same boat. I am also MPNP applicant and sent application doc to Sydney on December 2012. I did my medical + sent additional documents & ROPR fees on August 2014. It is almost 6 months since my medical was done and I have not received any reply from Singapore VO since then. We can't do anything except praying for each other. Please keep in touch so that we can share our status.

Why i am worry about that, my sister who apply after me and my nephew who apply after my sister already brought ticket and i am shopping for them :'(. yes off course i hope best of luck for all of you. but don't worry, it is very rare that they refuse after medical.

What can happen for this delay? I guess, police clearance certificate once again and medical certificate once again. what is your idea?

I think your situation is almost similar to me. One of my relative applied 1 years and another applied 1.5 years after me. Both of them got PR recently whereas I am waiting for reply from CIC for last 6 months after medical. I believe who applied before 2013 are delayed due to several issues like strike of CIC staffs in 2013, clearing out the newer applicants fast, etc.

What I have learned through visiting different immigration blogs, if CIC do not ask for PPR within 12 months of medical, they will either ask for new medical or extend the existing medical for another 12 months. They might also ask for new PCC. Which is fine. There is no problem to submit new PCC and do new medical. The only frustrating part is that the processing does not follow the rational method "First come first serve". Moreover long waiting time demoralizes the applicant and reduces the self confidence.

Guess what!!!

After waiting for around 6 months since my medical tests, today I received an email from CIC to submit my Passport to issue visa.

Thank you everyone in this form to provide me mental support during my long boring waiting time. I am prying for all the members in this form to get their good news soon.

I sent my passport for PR visa and hopefully will get the passport back within 1-2 months. Could someone let me know what would be the consequence if I get married between the time I get PR VISA and before landing to Canada? Will getting married before landing create any complexity?
