How long can I stay outside of Canada as a temporary worker but not PR?

I am a foreign temporary worker with a valid Canadian work permit. I will be travelling outside of Canada for my employer on a regular basis and may be outside the country for extended periods of time. Is there a limitation as to the number of days outside Canada? I don't want to invalidate my Canadian work permit. I have not applied for PR.

Nope, there is no restriction, as long as you have multiple entry VISA (if you are not a citizen of VISA exempt country), you can stay as long as you want. When you return, give a convincing answer to the immigration officer.
