Hi Jnathan,

If you make a Banker's draft in your name, i don't think anyone can misuse it, that is how i did and a person has to be responsible & sincere when he carries a big amount of money in form of TC's or Banker's draft.

Banker's Drafts are charged more than Travelers Cheques.
TC's can be instantly en cashed where drafts not.

How much did your bank charge you to make the drafts?
per 1000 CAD = How much Rupees charged?

what about opening an account from your country ?

iT IS POSSIBLE FROM iNDIA, u.a.e etc.

DD is no way near to TC's.
As I said, DD's require time to get encashed, 3-5 days.
TC's, Instantly.
why taking DD's then?
These days, Many even prefer VISA/Master Card/Amex Debit Cards.
