Tough question and tough situation.

IMHO, I think you've to get rid of it first (I don't know if that's possible coz I'm not a doctor) before the emabssy allows you to go to Canada.

I have a relative (with the whole family) who's in Canada now and they told me even if you're perfectly healthy but has a history of tuberculosis ('spot") which is also a contagious disease like hepa B, the embassy will have you undergo a series of medical tests to prove that you're 100% free from the said illness and their departure was delayed for about 6 months 'coz of that.
