Dear members,

I need to your advise with regards to my Medical Condition.

I am detected Hepatitis B positive with DNA Viral Load 375 IU/ML. I will be submitting the reports from Specialist to Immigration soon. LFT, ALT and Ultrasound have come perfectly normal.

I was wondering of the possible impact of my disease on my PR application. As suggestions or thoughts are welcome.

Best

I am sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with Hep B. The immigration medical exam test you for HIV, syphilis, TB , diabetes and Hypertension and to my best knowledge does not test you for Hepatitis B. However being said that when the physician calls you inside for your physical exam there is a questionnaire wherein you are asked about your past medical history. your bound to answer them truthfully. Since Hep B is a contagious disease and can be considered a threat to public health in Canada along with impact to the free healthcare system. I feel your chances are slim. you should definitely talk with an immigration lawyer before you proceed. Good luck my friend.
