HELP - Residency calculation

I am having a weird problem.. I am calculating my residence days in Canada using two method.

1) Online using following link (https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/rescalc/startBasicCalc.do)
2) Using the "How to Calculate Residency Form" (included with the application package).

According to method "2", I will be eligible for my Canadian Citizenship but Method "1" calculation say's I am not.

Can some one please help me calculating the correct day count?

Here are the pointers that will help calculating:


1) Arrived Canada on student visa ( Sept 06, 2009)
2) Got my PR (May 17, 2013)
3) Signing my citizenship application on ( June 25, 2015) FUTURE DATE !!!
4) Days I was not in Canada 71.

Bcoz you are putting different application date in 2 forms

1. Basic Residence calculation, you have put date as 2015-06-25
2. In How to calculate residence, you have put date as column B as 2015-07-25

so difference of 30 days.

Thanks for pointing that out. I fixed the date .. All though date was wrong, The column C was calucated correctly which is 769 days. You can check the new file now which has correct date.

Ok found your problem.

at column F, if you read text it says

On Line F enter either date you arrived on canada or date 4 years prior to date on Line B if you arrived in Canada more that 4 years ago.
so u arrived in 2009 which is before 4 years, so you will enter 4 years before of Line B

Line B is 25-Jun-2015 , so you will be entering 25 Jun 2011. and column H will have 692 instead of 730. and then it will match the online calculator.
