Hi guys,

work ex:8 months+ in a consulting firm(it is a sales and marketing firm)

I want to pursue a sort of creative course (having advertising or marketing in it), in JAN 15 intake. Will it be a problem in visa,as in course mismatch. Can anybody help me out or any other course you think would match my profile, like doing a certificate/ PG diploma. Please help guys. Thanks in advance.

Course mismatch will not be a problem if you have work experience related to the field of study. But you need to highlight this in your SoP. Good luck!

Go for Masters with Business/Economics/Marketing as Major and CS as Minor or vice versa. You do have nice percentage to get into Masters and with your experience and good SOP you will get SP without any issue.

Rest is your decision to which University/Program to get into.

I am having same sort of problem.
I am an engineering undergrad but interested in Business courses. I want
to apply for business courses but I am afraid that would affect my visa
chances. I have one year of work experience at an engineering consultancy firm. So, I plan to apply for some one year engineering course. I
am interested to know if I can change my course from one year
engineering course to two year business course after my arrival in
Canada. Any help would be highly appreciated.
My Profile: SSC: 85%
10+2: 75%
B.E: 75%
IELTS: 7.5
