Help regarding filling IMM5669E form

Dear All,
Currently i am filling IMM5669E form for my family sponsorship process, i am encountering a problem while filling the form. In the form i am asked to provide date for my education and personal history in the format YYYY-MM but as soon as i enter the Date in this format like 2005-03 the pdf automatically appends the day at the end like 2005-03-01 , so what shall i do? should i let it go like that or is there a workaround for that? i am sorry for the silly question but kindly help me in this regards.

Do you have setting on your computer that is set to auto correct? Maybe that is the issue but even if it is you it should accept it if you change it to the way you need it. Sorry this is all I have to suggest.
