hi. i just want to inquire about my friends situation. application for a new lmo and work permit for a new job was prepared by an employment agency.
work permit expired: sept.29, 2010
1st lmo application applied: 1st week of sept. - denied due to agents typo error
immigration ask to apply restoration of status: sept. 29, 2010
restoration applied by an employment agency:2nd week of october
2nd lmo and work permit application applied the same time: 2nd week of october??
but his new employer asks him to start already on the second week of september and gave her checks for her salary. twice already. and then she just knew from a friend that she shouldn't be doing that.
we were kinda wondering what will happen to her in the future? or what should she do with the situation.
because she's afraid that her employer might not take her anymore because she refused to start working with her papers still on process. because before her previous employer was doing a late application of a new work permit even if her work permit is already expired.
