Hi guys,

The simple question is

"Have you. your spouse or common-law partner, or any of your dependent children, already submitted or been included in an application under a Provincial Nominee Program to another province or territory?"

I am one of the people who were able to apply for a Quebec CSQ in August 2016 intake. Paid the fees, but no documents checklist yet.

Now, if you go to the PNP definition at this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/provincial/, you can find a note at the bottom saying:

"The province of Quebec does not have a PNP. See their immigration website to learn more about their immigration programs."

So if Quebec, by definition, does not have a PNP, does that mean I should answer "No" for this question????????

makes sense?

Just answer "yes" and explain it was for a CSQ.

It counts as "another province" even if it's not strictly referred to as a PNP.

Now, if you plan on prioritizing Ontario over Quebec, I suggest you explain that you will withdraw it once you get nominated by OINP.

I was in the same situation as I had applied to SINP just before applying to OINP. I got nominated by OINP without any further document requests.

bellaluna I understand your point, but SINP is a PNP, however csq is not as per the definition. I'm not trying to go around the system but answer the question correctly. thanks.
