Alberta Gov...
What is your NOC code and timelines? I was not able to find you in the tracking sheet ( or I might have missed). Mine is 2171.

Thanks

Yeah it's a shame!!!!! If you look at VSRao's spreadsheet no nominations have been issued for applications sent after Jan 15th (Old Process). I don't think any folks from new process have got nominations. So it kind of sucks. Well as for me I have already exhausted my 6 years of H1B and am returning to my homecountry of Peru. My company is shutting down operations here and have shipped design jobs to India and manufacturing to Taiwan. I was offered the option to go to India but am not sure after seeing so many Indians in this forum who want to move to Canada. Looks like there are lots of jobs in India. Can one re-apply for FBI clearance and state clearances from outside the US. Looks like I may have to get all my documents again when I move to Peru
you have to find certified finger print specialist in your country, you can still get it wherever you are. yea, you are out of h1b unfortunately you are of nomination process , thats what AINP wants now :(
well Alien3 I am not sure if I am off the nomination process since I am out off H1B status. My application reached Alberta before Feb19th. I was in status at the time of application. This rule came into place after Feb 19th. So I believe I still qualify. I just have to apply at the federal level at the Canadian consulate at Lima

AD, if u applied before feb 19. u are fine....just inform AINP(if they are still giving nominations) to send ur paperwork to lima, not buffalo (and tell them not to send it by mistake and then call it back, like AINP emails)

Looks like Anoop has not only forgotten his roots and also lost his mind. He is more frustrated than others here as he has nothing to do in reddy guest house.

Anoop,

I agree with your opinion on DESI UNCLES and AUNTIES. These guys are one of the most irritating people you will ever see.
Its beacuase of all these reddy desis who are manupulating the US immigration system we all are going through these tough times.
No matter how many years these people live here in US, they are not going to change thier attitude.
They will find the loopholes and spoil the system wherever they go.
First they did here in US...now they are trying to do same in Canada.
So....just shut up and let AINP do their job.

Hi Everyone,

Did anyone applied under NOC 1111. I am an accountant working in the billing department (Account receivable) for a Home Medical company. I am in charge of the whole dept. and i have more than 25 employees under my supervision. I applied under NOC 1111.

I was reading the description of NOC 1111. The accountant has to be working in an accounting firm or self employed. Since I work in a Medical company as an accountant and not in an accounting firm, Do i still qualify under NOC 1111?

Please advise.

Thank you.

Selfemployed means business class. it is similar to reddy consulting where one person is the director, sales man, receptionist (some time his wife or girlfriend also work ) and then the janitor.

if you work for accounting firm that means you are employed.

AG,

"Sometimes" you share very valid points. However I still do not know your NOC ( which I am very curious to know). And I will not ask you your timeline as maybe that's a personal information that you do not want to share.

Have you ever been to the city you mentioned above? A very famous company based out of that city was recently in news.
