I have got degree in Electrical Engineering, but i have 7+ years of experience in IT. My wife is the primary applicant. She is a software engineer with degree in the same field.

I agree with you vibez_well . Initial training should be from a classroom. We had done initial 40 hrs of training from a private institute since Alliance Francais batch was full, then later joined the ClickonFrench course. Without classroom training, it is difficult to pursue the online course.

I confirmed with Alliance center that ClickOnFrench syllabus is sufficient for appearing the Delf A1.

Stillhope, are u planning to write A1 and A2 together? I hope the next exam is in the mid of August. And also may I know which location and profession you are from?

My wife is principal applicant, she already cleared a2 in Feb from alliance francais , Chandigarh..
NOw she is doing self study at home, because we r in UK and there is no instiTUTE OFFERING delf b1 here.she applied on the basis of MBA.

I m appearing delf a1 next month here in UK and I m practicing my own.

So, is it necessary for both me and my spouse to prove proficiency in French? Will the immigrant officer also ask my spouse questions in French?

Yrs definitely he will ask questions to your wife as well as and also in French. So your wwife supose to clear at least delf a1

So how much point should i claim for my study and Area of Training?
I have already got the letter from Institute stating that the course was taught in English, so hope i dont need to appear in IELTS exam.
