Giving up US green card once approved?

It becomes very difficult to meet both residency requirements and lead a normal life. It is very difficult to meet RO for PR by coming to Canada on just the weekend while working Monday to Friday in the US. The US becomes more aggravated if you are going between Canada and the US frequently as PR and green card holder and they will comment a lot about withdrawing your PR status if you truly want to live in the US and went through the trouble of applying for a green card.

Thanks for the response...yeah I understand about difficulty in meeting RO and hassle of moving between Canada and US.....but just landing for PR and coming back to US within a week...will that automatically cancel Greencard or US border immigration officer will cancel the green card while returning to US?is. getting Canada PR considered as abandoning US green Card even though we dont stay/live in Canada?...Also is US citizenship application impacted if we get Canada PR?

Landing as a PR has no impact on your green card. The border agents in the US may give you a bit of a hard time or question why you need PR but that’s about it.
