In my first ever application to come study English in a language school, and then a study permit for my high school, I put in my first name and added a patronymic, a common name for people from my area, which is neither a first nor a middle name. In all other applications, I used my first name, and that's the name my passport shows, the passport I pretty much used for all my applications. Should I continue using my passport name, or should I mention the patronymic in the explanatory note? It will be on my police check from my home country.
