Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has any idea how a TB case would be treated with CIC if the person got it in Canada?

I don't think that I have TB and didn't get the request for medicals yet but I am in Canada for two years now so if I would get or have it then from someone in Canada.

It doesn't matter where you contracted it, you would not be granted PR until you had been successfully treated for it and been clear of TB for some period of time (I seem to recall they require at least a year - 12 months).

Further, having TB would make you medically inadmissible to Canada for temporary purposes as well, and your temporary status in Canada could be withdrawn.

I hope for your sake you do not have TB!
