My mind has melted looking at all the forms and reading all the information which I find confusing and contradictory at times. Where can I go to submit an outland application for sponsored PR?

HEY THERE,

MAY I SUGGEST ONE THING....

I DON'T KNOW WHERE YOU ARE BASED IN ONTARIO... BUT THERE ARE ACTUALLY NUMEROUS COMMUNITY CENTERS ALL ACROSS TORONTO, WHERE THERE ARE GOVT. APPOINTED OFFICIALS WHO HELP YOU WITH THESE SPECIFIC APPLICATIONS ONLY.. THEY ARE WELL VERSED IN THE APPLICATION PROCEDURES.. I ACTUALLY CONSULTED ONE OF THEM... AND CAN SAFELY SAY, IT MADE LOADS OF DIFFERENCE, THAN, HAD I FILLED THE FORMS UP ALL BY MYSELF... MOREOVER THIS COMMUNITY IS ALWAYS THERE.. BUT AN INTERPERSONAL APPROACH HELPS A LOT... IF THERE ARE THESE PLACES IN YOUR LOCALITY, A VISIT TO ONE OF THESE CENTERS IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED...

CHEERS,
SAMMY

It is very over whelming at first but we are all here to help you . Print off the forms and just read them then ask us questions. You will need a police check from Ireland and a medical which you can have done here. You will need 8 immigration photos. Your wife will fill in the sponsor part and then you both can work on the rest . The cost is $1040 so be prepared for that . I strongly suggest you apply outland.

Birth certificate will be needed and a current British passport . If you have lived anywhere for 6 months or more since you reached 18 you will need a police check from there too . Now be careful because your police check has to be less than 3 months old when you summit your application . . Medical is valid for 1 year . Taffy 7

hi mgallahager....

as an iec you can apply for an inland pr... but as you said you wife is canadian, i guess applying for a sponsored pr is your best option.. sponsorship PR is a sure thing... that i am quite certain of.. if your relationship is genuine (no disrespect meant).. which you must prove in your application to CIC... they will issue you a PR visa..

for your case, as you are living in canada, and i assume, you intend to do so in the foreseeable future, your wife will have to apply for an INLAND APPLICATION.... this will take 1.5 years minimum, going by the current trends.... as you are irish, and had you been staying in ireland, you would have been an outland aplicant.. then it would have taken you 6-7 months in all (london chc is superfast)....

so talk with your coworkers and decide if IEC to PR is a better option for you, or an inland application....

wish you luck,
SAMMY
incorrect, you can apply outland and remain in canada, much quicker.

My suggestion is, if your job fall into category O, A or B, then apply in CEC category once you have 12 months experiences, Its fairly easy and straight forward. within 6-7 months you will get your PR and once you apply after 30-40 days you will receive AOR and then you are eligible to get BOWP to stay in Canada and work, while your PR is in process. Its hassle free and you dont have to proof your relationship as well. If your wife sponsor you, then it will take 2-3 years and after getting conditional PR, you have to stay with your sponsor for 2 years. For whatever reason if your relationship don't last 2 years, then they will revoke your PR.
Why would it take 2-3 years for sponsorship it will take about 6 to 8 months for an Irish citizen to get his PR.

May be true, but other factors what I mentioned, still he have to go through.
But he is already here and working so he has 12 months experience and he can be sponsored withing the same time . He can apply now via common law he doesn't have to wait to get married if he has lived with his girlfriend for 1 full year. If he was from a non visa exempt country i would agree with you but hes not and proving relationship won't be hard.

Its my opinion that's all.He is married to a Canadian and has a job and is living here .Most relationships are not overly concerned about condition 51 .. My 2 cents only . He may not even have condition 51 on his corp.He may have a child with his wife we don't know that. Not looking to argue we are all entitled to our opinions .
