Hello,
I'm a German citizen and had a working holiday visa in 2011. (Went back to Germany after)
Now I have a job offer and would like to use the young professional visa.
When applying for IEC again two days ago I chose working holiday and young professional.
Not sure why I did that, I thought the young professional is pretty full and the working holiday had spots left and they'd figure something out for me.
I know it was stupid. ( Because you have to chose a different program the second time right?)
So now I got an ITA for working holiday right away because there's like 400 spots left for this year.
Now if I apply they will obviously decline it because I participated before.
My question is:
What is the best thing to do to stay in the line for the young professional visa?
Should I just decline the working holiday? (8 days left before ita expires)
What will happen then?
Am i still in a line for young professional right now?
Thanks for your help in advance.
I also emailed CIC and tried to call a hundred times but it's taking them forever and I can't get somebody on the phone (1 888 242 2100)
Regards Felix.
