I agree with you, however, some don't feel comfortable sharing that information and some are newbies and can't update their profile information until they post la few messages (this is IMO a bit stupid, not sure what the forum admins were up to when they decided this, but hey...).

Nevertheless it's useful info and I urge you all to provide it in your signatures, if possible.

And some like me, dont remember the dates to write my story...

I did, 1 week ago, I asked for my info by fax.

I know 2 did, but the number should be bigger. There are not a lot of people in this group and not everyone uses the forum or post even if they are on the group.

Yah and most people do not apply gcms notes.

Went to MP's office today. MP's coordinator was really helpful.
lets see what information they can get. They said that if it is on security check then nothing can be done actually other than just waiting.
Will receive a new gcms note this week.

i am pnp-outland march aor. seriously?!?! you guys didn't have ppr?! its been what 6 months?!? what happened to our application?! while cec applicants are very fast with aor march 25 already have ppr this week.

I just got my BOWP approved(Applied March 18th) for a year (Good until May 2018), I don't understand if they can give me BOWP then what's taking soo long for PPR. Don't they check security before approving work permit?? It's been almost 8.5 months since I applied for PR.

got my second gcms notes. It looks exactly like the first one I received on end of February this year. Eligibility, Criminality, Medical passed. Security still blank. There is not even an entry after Jan 28 (I requested 1st gcms note on Jan 26). Security related texts are removed for obvious reasons. Looks like there is nothing going on in my application!

Sad to hear that buddy. I plan to order my 3rd GCMS next week and feels like the result will be similar. In fact nothing really happened in CIC last weeks, Ottawa VO seems to be in slow motion, except for ITAs. Let's keep sharing info and keep the faith. Good luck for us!

Hopefully I will hear something different from my MP's office. Lets see. I also agree that Ottawa is office very very slow. My sister applied for Study permit extension (inland) on March 14th still no news! There is a big chance that our application is not in security check at all! It is just sitting there!
