Primary Office- Scarborough

Anyone know when the Oath date is usually provided on the tracker?
Update:
Got my early Christmas/ end of the year gift (drumrolls). Tracker updated this morning, Citizenship ceremony changed from Not started to in progress
Oath date Feb 1, 2024. I am wishing everyone still waiting a wonderful surprise soon

Hey everyone, so I finished my oath yesterday (Dec 21st). It was an online one for about 125 people—finally, a stable immigration situation, after a long wait. I received my citizenship certificate today (opted for e-certificate). Thanks to everyone on this thread for answering questions, giving useful tips and most importantly, keeping the spirits alive when things were dragging and cheering each other on. I will hang around on the forum if I can be of help in any way. My timeline below:

Application date: Dec 28, 2022
AoR: Jan 13, 2023
Test (from outside Canada): Apr 4, 2023
Test marked complete on tracker: Apr 5, 2023 (visible on Apr 7, 2023)
<<Super long gap, thanks to application in RC-8090>>
Email to attend PII interview: Oct 24, 2023
PII Interview (from outside Canada): Nov 10, 2023
Language & Prohibitions marked complete on tracker: Nov 10, 2023 (visible on Nov 14, 2023)
Physical presence marked complete on tracker: Nov 28, 2023 (visible on Nov 30, 2023)
Oath Invitation: Dec 12, 2023
Oath Ceremony: Dec 21, 2023
E-certificate available for download: Dec 22, 2023

I am applying for passport on Dec 27th, with next business day pickup. So, hopefully, I'd get it by Dec 28, 2023 (which would exactly be a year from when I applied :D)

Yes, I had reached out to them previously about staying outside of Canada for work. They did my interview using Teams, and during the interview, the interviewer confirmed that for the Oath, I'd be physically present in Canada

I don't know that everyone who had written the test outside of Canada is getting an interview request. Truthfully speaking, I don't even know what triggered the PII. I am just saying that I could attend the interview from outside of Canada (video call over MS Teams). But, during the interview, I was asked to confirm that I'd be physically present in Canada for my Oath ceremony.

Just called irc .
The E-grant DF doesn't mean anything. He said it is just mean it is moved between departments or people in ircc.
I got the same answer, but I honestly feel like certain agents know more than others. For example some will disclose more info with you than others would due to “goodwill” or because they don’t care much about the policies about disclosing information. So honestly it’s up to luck most times. But yeah we’re on the same page man. We gotta hang on :(

The point of me saying this is that the agent either does not know what it means or they cannot say for sure. That’s what I think but I could be wrong

Yes, the location of the paper file itself indicates that it moves from one department to another, but that does not explain what 'E-grant DF' means.

i wonder if we can make a ATIP request on what they mean? I mean it is a government info, and this is what ATIP is for (the five dollar option), inquirying these kind of info. So, i think it should work but who knows. We can ask what does GCMS notes abbreviations mean like "E-GRANT DF," and other abbreviations used commonly in applications.
