Hello friends

I am applying for an international student study visa to Canada.

I have my bank account with very limited funds as I do all my expenses from my account.

My mother in law is funding my studies and I have her account details with sufficient fund to finance my studies.

Does providing my depleted bank account details put me into a disadvantage in the eyes of the immigration officer.

Regards
Kam

Perhaps if you pay 50% or 100% tuition from that account, you may be considered. Has she sponsored you etc in the past. Evidence of such things may help.

Pay one year fees(approx 25K) and get a Guaranteed Income Certificate(10.5K). Get a letter from your sponsor and that should be sufficient enough. Don't worry at all. you should get through.
