If you go by the thread Manila office has been mOving slowly and steady since last 2-3 months. I don't think NDVO will have any impact . I think NDVO pace is like buffalo visa office going by the thread. There time line of 15 months will be 20 months soon.

Things seems to have started moving for MANILA Pre June 2010 applicants. Few Medicals requests have been reported lately.
I hope CHC New Delhi follows the same. It is important to remind us all that Manila and New Delhi are one of the Fastest in the World.

MY NOC IS 6241 ,IF U HAVE DONE RESARCH MY NOC GOT VERY LESS APPLICATIONS LAST 3 YEARS STILL ITS TAKING SO MUCH TIME , WHY?

If the verification call happens, they can talk to you as well as to your boss.
As per this thread, they talk to the boss first and then the applicant and ask whole bunch of questions.

I have changed my cell number. Will it be an issue for back ground check ? Do I need to update my cell number to them and if Yes then how?

I am a new member to this forum & the thread.

Wondering if anyones (espcially seniors) may help & guide?

==After clearance from the CIC, I submitted the complete application with all supporting documents to New Delhi Visa office in Oct 2010. Initial application to CIC reached on the 6th May 2010.

Since then I have had no information regarding the status of the same. No 2nd AOR etc, so far. Even my emails via CIC website have not been replied to. Further the website doesn't give me any info either when I access using the application number.

Please can anyone tell what is happening & what should I do in the light of the info below?

If you mentioned your cell number in the application, may be you should inform..

There is a good news for all of us. One of my known got medical request today. She sent her final docs in Sep 2011, exact date I could not conform. She is 4131.
Lets hope for the best!

I also sent my docs in September 2010 and I got my 2nd AOR end of october, so I can expect soon....
