FSWP2014 Applicants from India with files transferred to Warsaw visa office.

Hi Guys,

I got an email from Warsaw office asking for more documents, here are my questions based on what they ask:

Scan copy of passports:
In fine print the question say:
Please note that the passport should be valid for at least six months and contain at least two blank pages at the time of visa issuance.

My son's passport expires in Feb 2016 which is 6 months from now. Should I renew the passport?


Second question:
Original police certificate(s) from India for yourself to include your maiden name

what does it mean by "include your maiden name" I have been married for 14 years and use my husband last name. Do i need a PCC with my madien name of a PCC with my current last name but mention my maiden name??

Got PPR just now....No DM.... Thanks a lot guys the forum is very good to keep our spirits high!!!
Iam was shocked to see my pail... Anyways my time line as follows: dnt knw how to use colours and all... and i know how it feels guys was reading all the posts and the wait is really horrible....
never been thru such kinda situation...

You need to obtain a PCC which includes your MAIDEN LAST NAME [It can either be a PCC on your current name which mentions an alias of your maiden last name (or) just a PCC on your maiden name]. I was lucky enough to obtain a PCC with just my spouse's maiden name.

Book an appointment at your local Passport office and explain the need for this. Print the email received from CIC and show it to them. It is at the discretion of the passport officer to issue a PCC in maiden name. Your case may involve a police verification as well since it has been 14 years since you've been using your husband's last name. If you are lucky, you will get the PCC containing maiden name.

If your attempt at Passport office is not successful, you have to visit the Police Commissioner's office and persuade them to issue a PCC on your maiden name. (PCC contains your Passport number as well).

Not to scare or demoralize you but, getting PCC on maiden name is difficult and tricky since this is an uncommon request for the officers.

Regarding your son's passport, I'd recommend renewing it and forward the new passport details along with the PCC to avoid hassles at a later point. You will anyways have to renew it in Feb (why not do it now).

hi there, i am new to this forum......... little query regarding PCC for NEWzealand as we have to fill a consent form, which i already did and sent to canada immigration WAW office along with medicals, but in the past I have seen ppl in the forum were asked for the NZ PCC where as they dnt provide any direct PCC to candidates... just worried.

My timeline below

APP Filled: 02 DEC 14
PER: FEB 19
Medicals Submitted: 02 June
PPR : Waiting ..

On the CIC application, I used my last name for Spouse (even the passport is on the my last name). However, I have mentioned her maiden last name in the other names section of the application.

my wife has used maiden name in whole application,

before getting pcc we renewed passports of both of us, so name is updated now in her passport with my last name and pcc also has my last name

hope they dont ask me to get such pcc.
