Any idea about how much time MR takes from AOR mail at CVO.

AOR- 10-Feb-2015 sent to "Warsaw"

HEY MAY BE I AM ASKING THIS AGAIN I WOULD LIKE ADVISE ON FEW ISSUES
1)I AM CURRENTLY A STUDENT FROM JAN AND SHIFTED TO SINGAPORE
2) MY LAST WORKING DATE WAS FOR CODE 0121 3 MAY 2014.
SINCE THEN I HAVE NOT JOINED ANY COMPANY .....EVEN THOUGH I HAD JOB OFFERS BUT I WANTED TO STUDY MORE AND IMPROVE MY SKILLS BEFORE REACHING CANADA....

KNOW I HAVE RECIEVED A MAIL FOR MY MR AS WELL AS PCC AND THEY REQUIRE MY UPDATED OR U CAN SAY LAST JOB DETAILS

Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate. This must be received at this office by:.
Employment records: An original and recent letter of employment indicating the start date, annual or hourly rate of pay, working hours and duites. This must be received at this office by:

The processing time for CVO is increased from 12 to 14 months, NDVO from 22 to 24 months and WVO from 22 to 34 months.
Ironical that CIC have transferred our files to WVO for faster processing :'([/b]

Well those are worst case or reference timelines. Not mandatory !

As per above info shared, 11 days from AOR to MR is encouraging.

Well...i am still sitting on PER...waiting for AOR/MR

Ok,let me know what reply you got. If hardcopy is mandatory, thenI will also send it.

got a response from them - "Your request to change your residential address can be sent as an e-mail attachment. The original with your signature should be scanned, and forwarded to us via e-mail."

So not sending the hard copy...

Hi JR16,

My new address is now reflecting on ECAS portal. The following information must be included in your address change request:

- the full name of applicant and original signature,
- the applicant's date of birth,
- the file number [Letter followed by a nine-digit number],
- telephone number, including area code,
- the mailing address, and
- a return fax number and/or e-mail address (if available)


So, just write an application, signed it and scanned it. Then, raise CSE and upload the scanned document. This will work. Make sure your signature matches with the original PR application.
