i am also an ACMA .. but applied immigration on the basis of MBA. as ACMA completed in 2014. this is good forum .. and we should help out each other ... also one of the forum member with name " vigilant" created a group for the same and he has landed in Canada in 2013. he is always very helpful and also pursuing certain accounting certification as well. we should also request him to join here as well.

Hello Every one,

Here is a UK Business Graduate, i did my BA HONS in Business Admin, from UK in 2011, have got around 5 year of work experience across various industries including Hotel Management to Internal audit, Customer services to Marketing, and Accounting to Management consulting, finally i realized i need some specialized qualification that is why i am considering Management Accounting field as it will help me getting into good Job another reason is to Immigrate to Canada, also i have an Entrepreneurial mindset i have a plan to setup my own business too, though i think management accounting will help me quantify and run successfully my own business too.

Now, question is, as i am living in Pakistan at moment, i have two options, ICMAP or CIMA, which course will suit best for me to start from CIMA OR ICMAP? anyhow i will get both qualification through exemption policy but which course to complete from start would be better option as i have heard CPA Canada give full exemption to CIMA students only if Cima is completed from start not by gaining exemption by other body. Please suggest me according to my query.

please suggest me in terms of:
1. Cost Effectiveness
2. Level of in-depth knowledge of field
3. Recognition in Canada and helping to Immigrate.
