nabasa ko ur from sg..been meaning to ask a question to someone who's sg-based..
Ung DBS CC ba when u buy online, does it also send OTP (one time pw) thru sms?
I was wondering kasi..UOB CC gamit namin for CIC. I noticed this cc sometimes does that with certain sites, sometimes naman parang hindi...

I have friend using UOB CC, he just received SMS about transactions by CIC.. wala npo OTP.
In my case, we used OCBC CC nman and called them that i am expecting transaction from CIC.

Pre-caution using CC as payment:
As much as possible, we try to secure our CC while waiting sa transctions from CIC.
In the event bka mawala o manakaw ung CC ntin. We might end-up to cancel the card
and that will be big deal sa applications natin for rejections.
Ako hindi kn muna dinadala ung card ko and avoiding any unwanted transactions.

Question lang:

For CC usually dapat iniinform ang bank na may transaction na paparating kc baka mag-fail ang transaction.

How about for DD? Should we inform our bank that our DD will be encashed very soon? Paano kaya ang authorization sa DD? will they verify my name, address etc? thanks!

For CC yes dahil pwedeng i-block as precaution ng bank and for DD no because it is as good as cash

Yeah sa akin pcc lang. No additional proof of fund ksi complete ung submitted ko. May cert at statement ( actually photocopy of bankbook sa akin).
