I am not sure if it is for 2014 like the HEADING says EE launching 2015 and with that it follows applications will be accepted starting May 2014....:O
If 2013 FSW has to be continued there was no need for more eligible occupation. May be what I get from this is: it is going to be the whole procedure introduced by May 1st and it will take some time to get things done and approved by EOI as in case of Australia immigration system and things like that. But if it is like FSW 2013 than I cant wit for it to come. I may be wrong in my opinion so lets c...:)

Question - for points awarded under adaptability, it states that an applicant will be awarded 10 points for previous work experience of at least one year in Canada. Now, does full time work experience mean working as a permanent employee or does that mean work experience of at least 30 hours or more per week? I ask this because I worked in a temporary position for the month of May 2013 in Canada for 40 hours a week. I want to know if I can include this work experience as I will gain one year of work experience this May.
Please advise, thanks!

First they say:

"With the FSWP backlog on track for elimination this year, a new cap of 25,000 applications will provide the appropriate number of applications to support expected admissions in 2015."

http://news.gc.ca/web/article-en.do?nid=841349&_ga=1.150777013.2062129641.1381779590

And then they say this:

"Quick facts
These are the last FSWP, FSTP and CEC applications that will be accepted under the current system before Express Entry launches in January 2015."

I don't understand.

no it has to full time work experience of 1 years min and 30 Hours of paid work/week if we talk about Canada work experience, so it you cant include it as to gain points but it might be helpful in covering your time gap. Thanks

Okay I am not sure if you understood my question.
My situation - I worked as a temporary financial analyst for a bank here in Toronto from May 01.13 to May 31.13 for 40 hours per week. I have been working full time since June 06.13.
My concern - I have studied in Canada and I do not want to spend money and time gathering an ECA report. Hence I wanted to know if I will get 10 points under adaptability because I will have one year of work experience in the mid of May 2014. If not, I will have to get an ECA report and that means waiting longer, which I really do not want to do at this point.
Anyone, any advise

yes i am a professional chemical engineer with 3 years of experience, can i apply?
I think what @chskw meant is with a "job offer" coming from an employer in Canada.
If you have one you can apply, if your profession is not on the NOC list, then you can not.

I don't understand.
It means that applications RECEIVED before 2015 will lead to people being approved and admitted as PR in 2015+. It doesn't mean that applications will continue to be accepted in 2015.

Considering that English is one of the two official languages of Canada, they do seem to make it hard for people to understand. Sometimes, I wonder if the CIC wording and documentation is some kind of sneaky language/intelligence test...
