Hi all! For those who are in Canada already, have u had ur credentials assessed earlier by an institution or department in Early childhood or you've got to wait to get there?

The institute I am working now is going under ownership changing. Institute becomes very small and number of students dropped drastically. Will it be problem when they find it’s a small institute? What I heard they are going for downsizing. Should I inform CIC?-

1. Ownership of Institute changing.
2. I could be jobless.
3. Request them for early background (site) check.

What if I remain jobless for next few months? My last 6 years job experience is under this NOC 4214 and in the same institute. Will they drop me for being jobless? Or will it delay my application process?

After AOR on May 13, 2015, no news.

It doesnt matter if you become jobless. Your experience within last 10 years from the date of applying would count. However you are obliged to inform your VO in case you actually become jobless. You may also inform them about the change of ownership as a reason for down sizing. No harm in it. As far as Background checks are concern, I personally believe that they do not welcome suggestions on how to go about BCs from the applicant. Let them do their work the way they feel appropriate. Just dont panic, you did not do anything wrong and whatever is going to happen, you will not have any control over it. Just be truthful and straight. All the best.

By the grace of Almighty, I got 2nd Line eCAS updated today. The processing date mentioned is Mar 13 which is after PER date.

GCMS NOTES

if you want to order it on your own there are two ways.

a) If you have a friend / relative in canada it would cost you just $5 and you will get that in around 30 days.

b) If you don't have a relative or friend in Canada then you can get it from websites and it would cost around $25-$40 and you will get in six to eight weeks..

Check this

a) If you have a relative / friend in Canada

As you have a relative / friend there it would cost you just $5. Its very easy. Your relative / friend will order this on your behalf and he will be the requester. It can be done by email and your relative / requester can send scan copies of everything. Your relative / friend will receive CAIPS / GCMS notes in his email.

First fill the following form but your relative / friend will sign it as he is the requester.

Then you will have to fill this consent form and sign yourself

Now according to latest IMM5563E form you can even pay fees online if you are not living in Canada and there is no need to fill any credit card form. Pay fees online, get receipt, fill it and then scan and attach with application. Its very easy. Go to section C of the following form then follow other links given below.

b) If you don't have a relative / friend in Canada

No TLU for me also.
But I am hopeful to get TLU by end of August. My medicals were done on 11th August. TLU should not take more than 3 weeks unless there are further tests required. In my case the hospital confirmed that our medicals were normal and they have already uploaded our medicals to CIC.
After the third line update there is a long wait of 60-90 days to DM which is the verification phase of application I guess.

Let us wait patiently till then.

My medicals were also done on August 13 and 14. No TLU yet.
