Is it really that bad in your home country?

Well IT in the Philippines was very backward in the 99. Hence I moved to the UK in 2001, and later to the USA in 2006. I got the boot during the 2008 GFC, returned back home worked bits and pieces but didn't find suitable work, I went to work in Penang, Malaysia, and the kids were born there. Sadly Malaysia doesn't allow foreigners to naturalize, nor do the kids attain citizenship by birth. In order to settle down I moved to Australia, and my kids became full Aussies, I made some wrong decisions that prevented me from getting an Aussie PR hence the Canadian sojourn. I have no plans to go back home nor do I believe kids can adopt living there nor do I feel gung-ho about working in the Philippines, I can go to Penang.

Can someone with a PR apply for USA green card lottery ? Would this affect negatively their status as PR or for citizenship after ?

Shouldn't be a problem opting for a lottery is like creating an EE profile. Only after one gets picked in the lottery do you really submit a real application. Also it is a long process that takes 3 years or so. Good luck

You can apply. I guess when you get a GC, you can only choose to keep one if you want to live permanently in one of the two countries.

Do we need to printout the consent form and fill it with a pen, then scan or do we do type it on system itself?

I just read some of your posts and I must say that you're the only Filipino I've seen who isn't a complete racist. When I used to live in the UK, the Filipinos there hated Indians, Arabs and black people so much. I witnessed the same thing when I was doing an internship in Zurich. What's funny is that they are often discriminated against themselves. For example- they got wrecked during covid with racism, and in Dubai they are treated like Filth, like most migrant workers there. But somehow when they get to a Western country they become so entitled and start discriminating against others. But I must say hands down that Filipinos are the most openly racist people I've ever seen. Whites don't even hold a candle against them. Wuuhh! Had to take this off my chest.

When I used to live in the UK, the Filipinos there hated Indians, Arabs and black people so much. I witnessed the same thing when I was doing an internship in Zurich. I agree with you. yes, some of the poor behavior's of treating people poorly based on the skin is very much ingrained in the a lot of Asian cultures including mine. A lot of us treat darker skinned folks in our own culture worse than a fair skinned folks. I have done this myself in my younger days dating women, always preferred the fairer maidens. Sometimes still do I guess, it is involuntary man sorry sometimes tastes don't change. But I think such behavior is equally prominent with the sub-continental cultures. I know this because folks from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and and Bangladesh have been friends with me right from my youth days in the UK, where we were grouped together, shared accommodations and had a great time scrounging in lowly IT jobs, those days we used to get abused by the entitled whites who felt we were stealing their jobs by taking lower pays.

Today loads of whites some even older than me work for me, it is a much changed different world, I'm thankful for all those who did hold a handle and let us all move up in our Careers. This upward move applies to a lot of Indians also. I love East-Coast and west coast Americans, I have never felt discriminated there not even one day even 17-18 years back, Texas and a few inner red-districts are still bad.

Each one of us is entitled to our opinion I don't disagree with most of the stuff you say.

I agree with some of what you just said. It's good that you got out of that mindset.

Yes, it's true that Arabs hate each other too. But I think the only unique thing about Filipinos is that they actively try to let you know that they're hating on you. Like one of the Filipino girls in my apartment back in the UK a few years back would smile at every white person and as soon as she saw any Arab, or a South Asian, she would make the most disgusting face ever. It was so flagrant. And for no reason at all! I have many other stories of them saying horrendous things about black people too ,and how Sri Lankans and Indians always eat smelly food, which is hilarious since Filipino food literally smells like you know what.

Cherry on top is that despite all their hatred for Arabs, so many of them end up opening foot massage parlors in Abu Dhabi lmao. I can never understand how some humans who are often discriminated against then turn around and harbor so much hatred for others in such a nasty and visceral fashion.

Is it very common for an MP's office to ignore emails or phones for 2-3 weeks I sent my 3rd follow-up today (2 emails and 1 call). Or should I assume they are tacitly telling me by not replying they are not going to call IRCC?
I was waiting for the 6 months completion and see if MPs could try calling.
Hamilton Mountain, ON MP seems like a very peculiar animal, her Google page and FB are filled with citizens simply blasting her office for ignoring emails and calls for talking to CRA, etc....
Somehow I feel angry as if the whole Canadian government machinery is gunned down against me, maybe after getting my PR I should get into politics and try to create a South East Asian political party to unite all brown and yellows under one single umbrella, get enough MPS to join one of the coalations. Office politics is not enough for me I need to be in government politics also now I guess.

Thanks mate yes I see what you are saying the government departments and services here are poor. I had never had to reach out to any federal departments other than IRCC till date, it was not a thrilling experience I've to still bear with them will I get my Citizenship I don't have a choice.
The CRAs systems and online stuff seem ok I never had to contact them otherwise, they are not as advanced as ATO - Australian Tax office. But they have also not given me any grief till date other than the super high tax rates for the income.
The Canadian Province departments on the other hand seem are even more pathetic than federal. 'Service Ontario' every time before I step in I close my eyes and tell myself 10 times to control my anger. These Ontario governments departments have system and people are worse than the fish markets in the Philippines. The competence of the officers is garbage, they treat citizens like slaves. My subordiantes who moved from Quebec tell me it is even worse there.
Believe me Australia had much better departments and Victoria state was even better. Me and my wife often discuss our bad fortune we had to come here to Canada and bear with all these.
