The best evidence they would convince in "Marriage Certificate" as that is from Govt Registered Agency and the Photographs of marriage.

Guys, I've just received an email from my Visa Office (would this count as an AOR?).
They're asking me to deliver more documents to prove my marriage is genuine, as I got married just a few months before sending my application and they found it suspicious.
Though I'm a little frustrated because this will delay my application a bit, I know they have all rights to ask for further proofs. After all, it's their duty to help protect the system from frauds.
Any suggestions as to which documents will help me prove my marriage isn't set up?

PER: 4 Feb (just received my letter).

I was a little bit worried about waiting for my PER for a long time. To all of you who are waiting as well: postal service can be slow and your pers may be on their way already!

Oh.. we actually made preparations for wedding in Oct. Looks like now i've to push everything forward.

Actually my spouse-to-be has also applied under Single applicant. His application reached CIC on 4th Dec. However his fee hasn't been encashed yet, so i'm also not sure what's going on there. Supposedly his application goes through successfully, do we still have to get married in May/June before MR and passport request?

Best would be to get married offcially : court/registered marrigae now itself.
Have proof/photographs. dont change your lifstyle. this way you dont have to change your plan too.
Use proof for application etc and have your actual (clebrations) marriage in oct as planned.

What are the tests we need to go through for MR? I am wearing lances with num. -7.5. will that be a problem?

Spreadsheet Update Process:

TO add timeline to your forum profile you need to have 10 posts or more. Once you have 10 posts or more go to forum profile information on top right of this page> Forum Profile Information on left side of the page and add details.

Have you mentionned in your application an e-mail for the correspondence with CIC or just a regular mail? And is it the charging date upon your PER letter? It seems too early for Nov applicant maybe it is 8th of Jan?

I got PER on 2nd Feb ...

wait for next step.. thats AOR email, it will confirm your visa office followed by MR, PPR and stamping

you should get AOR soon.. latest AOR is for Nov 3 applicant i guess.
