Anyone else on the forum in the HKVO?

It seems they have fallen asleep.

Early on there were a couple of MRs, but looking at the 2014 spreadsheet, "Apps by VO" tab, almost everyone is stuck in the "file transferred" stage.

What are they up to?

HKVO applicants, let's discuss here.

According to the Chinese forum, there were few DMs for the past two weeks. I guess so far HKVO is working on the applicants from 1st to 7th of May (partially). I have seen other 7th applicants are waiting for ME too.
Have you received ME?

I'm May 7th but haven't received any medical request or communication from HKVO since they acknowledged the transfer of my file over a month ago.

I remember your name on the SS, I think you are May 7th as I am.

It's so strange that HKVO has historically been fast yet nobody has heard anything.

Cancellation of investor immigration program (IIP) early this year is a possible reason for the slowdown. HKVO has to unwind a huge backlog of IIP applicants. Let's be patient and wait. Don't worry, think positive!

That's an interesting thought, but if the program was cancelled, and outstanding applications were cancelled as well (according to what I read), what would the VO need to do with those applications?

I am trying not to worry and think positive, +1 for your attitude!

So far only few 7th applicants are getting ME. Everyone is anxious too.
Others are still waiting. Nothing cross over the 7ths.
BeiJing VO seems to have faster process than HK this year.

You mean for Chinese applicants on the Chinese forum right? Because according to our spreadsheet there are very few medical requests so far. Almost everybody is at file transfer or PER stage, even from 2nd and 5th May. I'm 7th May, I guess we will all be waiting longer.

Chinese applicants are not keen to update their status, even on their own spreadsheet.
They gather on their private group (QQ or something communication program)
But on the forums, they will sneak out some information they already knew via private group. That's the only information I will get while browsing.
