Medicals and FBI sent on: March 17th, 2015
PPR : March, 23th 2015.

Nationality: Venezuelan.

Hi Experts,
Need your help and advice.My application for FSW was received on 30th 2014 October and the ECAS status has only one line which says "we received your application on 30th Oct 2014".I have received PER on Jan 28 but nothing since then.Do you know when i am supposed to get second line update from CPCO. Will i receive an email from them saying that they have received my application and have started processing it or will the ecas status change.

Also, how long will take to get MR.Does MR always come after second line email/ecas update??Or can i directly receive MR.I have seen that few applicants on this forum with similar timelines as mine have already got their MR.

Please help/advice.

I am Nov applicant , got PER in Feb. waiting for medical request. One question. My kid is 6 months old, Do we need to get medicals for 6 months old kid also?.

I don't have any fresh GCMS notes but just wanted to inform you that the last one I got was sent to me in 3 weeks which was really surprising. I applied on the 2nd of March and got it on the 19th. What's the difference applying under the Privacy Act, because that's what I did.

So do you a due date or any notification given when you can expect PPR

Yes, they would ask for that. Many of the forum mates have done it for new borns. I was asked for my 4 year old. There is concession for kids
But wait for MR request to know more.

Sir, and they never received a PPR or any update after medicals, just COPRs in their mailbox? well maybe its their super-VOs , also those I know both outside or this canadavisa forums have indicated that Cic requested their passports or even copies of passports before COPRs are sent...(even though no visa was affix)..They may request it and always do most times.

My understanding is if your visa exempt you don't need the PPR email or to sends copy of passport and this is confirmed by others I know who have going through the PR process.

How stupid is that? Australians send grant (PR visa) by email. And here we are, holders of valid visas or visa-waiver PPs mailing away passport for 20 days for the sole purpose of entertaining the CIC

An officer may use discretion in determining whether it is necessary to see the original passport or whether a photocopy of all passport pages is sufficient. A photocopy of only the bio-data page is not acceptable, as notations may have been made on other pages regarding the individual's name, marital status or other pertinent information.
