FSW 2014 - Awaiting passport request

That's really weird.

When did u receive the passport request and by email or post?

I received my passport request at the same time with my passport all in 23rd Oct 2014 thru email... However, i only submitted my passport last 6th of January because i was waiting for my FBI Clearance...

I got Passport request email yesterday . I am a May 2014 applicant- NVDO visa office and completed medicals on Nov 15,2014

I am also a May 2014 applicant, medicals completed in mid Nov 2014, same as that of yours. The application status changed to decision made on Sunday.
But i am yet to receive any email from NDVO on PPR.

Any idea about how many working days,approximately, does it take to get a PPR ?

My friend got it just 2 days after the decision made update was seen. So you should get the email for PPR soon. Keep checking your inbox

This is my E CAS timeline. My VO is Colombo & I'm from Sri Lanka.

We received your application for permanent residence on June 10, 2014.
We started processing your application on October 30, 2014.
Medical results have been received. (Since 8th December)

I feel that my ppr is delay when compared with you'll . If you guess when can I expect the PPR ?

details:

Appln recd: Dec 11, 2014
PER: Feb 28, 2015
Processing started: May 28, 2015
Medical Request: June 18, 2015
Decision made: Aug 20, 2015

My file shows three lines of update:

1) Your application was received on Dec 11, 2015

2) The processing started on May 28, 2015

3) Medical results have been received.

However it does not show the 4th line update. The application status has already changed to "DECISION MADE" and there is no e-
mail for passport request or any rejection. How should I take this as: POSITIVE or NEGATIVE. I am quite tense right now. Please advise.

Do not be too worried as your will get PPR mail this week..

from DM it can take anything between some hours to like 5 days to get PPR.

Just be on the look out for the email to request for your passport

Hello,

My application was received by CIC on 29.12.2104, PER received on 01.03.2015, MR/ PCC request received on 26.05.2015, Medical reports were received by CIC on 16.06.2015, my other docs reached them on 24.06.2015 & today the status changed to Decision Made.

Can anyone plz let me know if there is certain validity requirement for international passport for visa stamping?

Do we have any CIC rules like " International passport should remain valid at least for 6 or 12 months after the date when immigration visa expires"?
