I have submitted my passport to VFS on 10 March. How long will they take to return my passports with the stamped visa? what is the normal timeline?

It took 8 Working days for me (Mumbai VFS).

In general 7-10 working days.

Hello everyone,

My request for FBI clearance reached Virginia on the 22nd of January. I just received my AOR from Colombo VO (although it was supposed to be NDVO). I have one more completed copy of the FBI fingerprint sheet (I got both done at the same time at the Mumbai Police Fingerprint Bureau). Would it be a good idea to send the second one as a separate request in case the first one is rejected? Or will that confuse things?

I look forward to hearing what all of you think.

Can anyone suggest specifically in those cases where your original VO was NDVO and file transferred to Warsaw VO......Is it compulsory that we will receive AOR after PER or can we also directly receive MR without receiving AOR?

Lets hope that the decision made line is taken out and it is a system error.

My two cents to you are

1. Go through your entire application and calculate your points once more
2. Ask your employers both past and present if they have received any calls regarding BGC
3. Apply for GCMS asap, although it may take a month to come you will know what happened.
4. Go though your reference letters see if it matches the details provided under your NOC code

I know saying these things are easier for me than done, but trust me friend lets be 100 % sure from our end and leave the rest to the almighty.

Guys,
Just wanted to inform you all that I have collected the stamped passport today from VFS office, Bangalore. The journey that started in Feb-2013 has finally come to an end. ( Yes, I was applicant in FSW-13 also but could not make it back then due to CAP. Took my IELTS in Feb-2013 ). The Phase I of this journey is over and now the time has come to embark on phase II - landing, job, settlement.

I want to thank each and every member of this forum for the contribution that we all are making towards a common cause. Let the good work keep flowing. I would be happy to help members with whatever little knowledge I have regarding the application processing.

Thanks CPR2012, will look forward to receiving something in the next few days. I have take the option for VFS to courier to my residence, will this delay the dispatch?
