Happy to announce that i have received MR and RPRF. Below are the timelines. My prayer for members who are waiting for the next step.
App date - 18th Aug
PER - 6th Dec
Second Line on ECAS - 11th Feb 2015
MR & RPRF - 13th March
SS updated.

Quick queries.

Only below activities needs to be done ?

1. I need to send the photocopies of passport along with RPRF (After 16th March) receipt by courier to NDVO directly of all members ? Copies of Passport, Some hospitals do give medical receipts or sealed copies of IMM1017E or Medical Info Tracking Sheet. Include them in the List. If you have already sent PCC along with your application, then you are not required to send it again
2. Submit IMM 1017E with Passport copies, Photographs to hospital and they will send the report to NDVO ? Yes, that is correct. Doctors will upload the results and those will be accessible to NDVO

I am assuming you have provided PCC for Europe as well. If you have done so, then for each clearance certificate Authorities issue unique id for your record search. VO may check if there is online record of such search happening along with your details. You are 99.99 percent through unless you have misrepresentation on security checks.

It is BIG MISCONCEPTION that living in more countries cause delay in PPR. One of my friends submitted 4 PCCS and still got PPR within 28 days of MR. It all depends upon your original application thoroughness and online records availability for countries in question. US, Europe and Australian records are avalailable to Canadian authorities online.

i submitted the PCC wih meds&rprf. Also I stayed in Europe for 4years.
Could you please further explain the the security/background checks??

Hi...seek small clarification...

What is the significance of second line update? Does it mean file is opened and started processing by Visa officer? Then, in that case second line updates should follow FIFO..may be PER dates wise? Confused.. : ???

Can any1 help me on this....


I have one question,I have submitted my passport on 5 Mar 2015.But in the details section I have filled colour of my eyes as black but seems to b brown.I did not took it seriously..But as I heard the same will b mentioned in COPR.Will that be a concern point in future.Should I raise a CSE

Hi Avinir, Congrat, you are almost through now. I am assuming that you are going to hospital which can send your medical results online (e-medicals)...

#1. In that case you don't need to take photos of your family, they will take it on the spot. You need to take print out of forms and 2 copies for each passport bio data pages (and fees too ;-)...).

#2. Couried to NDVO - (A) RPRF receipt, (B) Passports front and end page, (C) Tracking receipt copies of e-medicals, you will get these from hospital.

Second line appears when the assigned IPA opens file in GCMS and begins processing it by initiating document verification and criminality check. Upon completion he/she sends MR.

FIFO is not really followed by VO's buddy
