I am copy-pasting my earlier post here. This information is readily available online, but takes some patience and analytical skills to digest. Moreover, I used to work for government, so I know a things or two about these routines.

Dear brajesh388,
Local police certificates are used to establish good citizenry conduct as per Criminality checks. They also have access to RCMP (Canadian federal police) databases in order to enquire about adverse information against applicant on Canadian soil.

Security checks are governed by Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness (PSEP) and are more like a detective's work aimed to establish if the applicant is admissable under IRPA provisions. Mainly, they are looking for terrorists, spies and war criminals.

There are many stakeholders that can be part of Security check, including but not limited to Regional War Crimes Unit or the Modern War Crimes Unit, National Security Division, CBSA, NHQ.

It doesn't apply to you if:
1)you are neither married nor divorced:
2)there is no national identity document in your country (ie. in Russia we have a travel passport and a citizen passport, the latter being a national identity document)

Diplomatru, bro, you said exp. and degrees, but recently I read that one guy who received a request for medicals with request for another form of his wife and specifically for a question considering to her living since 2005. So I guess they check in depth. What do you think?

I am sorry if I didn't make myself clear.
The VO does scrutinize CIC forms of course, but as far as the applicants' docements are concerned, they may initiate checks of employment and education at this stage.

Hello Everyone!

I am new to this forum. Wandering, why I was not aware of this forum when I was struggling to file my case. Luckily, I got my PER in mid Sep. I am 27th May applicant for NOC 2171,Toronto. But till date, I did not receive any communication regarding Visa office or MR/PCC request.

Is there any delays with CPC-O?
Or Just I am the one in this boat.

Please advise!!!!!!

Oh, I have no problems with that, only that minor mistakes in forms. I hope in worst case they will send me inquiry to fill another forms.
