I also am 16th June. Still waiting. Sent DD. No updates yet. I feel CIC has become kind of irregular off late, with the decrease in the no of applications in June.

I forgot to write NOC code on Courier Envelope (instead of XXXX), although all my documents are in an envelope and I've written NOC code on that envelope. This envelope is inside UPS courier envelope...
I printed CIC address (with XXXX) and pasted it on UPS envelope...

Not sure, how this mistake gonna impact my application.

Any suggestions???

There were lots of applicants with same mistakes....But this was an issue....

Hello, I am new to this forum and find it extremely helpful. I have applied under NOC 1112 and my application reached on July 31st. I just realized that I sent a copy sent to me by ICAS as part of my application packet. It is on the ICAS paper with seal and everything but has copy written on it. I received an original and a copy from ICAS but by mistake sent the copy. Will CIC accept this or should I sent an addendum with the original? Please advise. I will also update my info on the spreadsheet. Thank you.

Is it ok to use paper clips and post-its to keep the pages for each form together and also for supporting documents?

You irritated the mail room officer...and these days they are not in good mood, as too many apps when compared to previous year....so he may push it behind by a day or two in the queue, otherwise no impact! ;D All the best!

I have seen a case recently, they charged 100 dollars more when charging payment. When asked they gave a reason that they personally wrote the noc code on the application cover, hence extra charge...... So, be sure that it wont be rejected.

Just kidding, no extra charge.....

However a final decision on your eligibility to be selected as a federal skilled worker will be made by a visa office.

I had the same situation. Wes has sent an email confirmation that the duplicate report has been dispatched on September 29th. No PER yet. Am really beginning to lose hope now...

IELTS - 21 points
Experience - 4 yrs - 13 points (Subject to duties matching as in ref letter) (as on 21st Dec 2014)
Age -12 points
Education : 21 points (Subject to WES)

Currently 65 points due to less work ex, but on 21st Dec 2014, you will be scoring exactly 67 points which is the cutoff, which is perfectly OK. your Consultant is misguiding you. Ask him the points breakup.

To be on the safer side, you can ask your spouse (if applicable) to give IELTS and score CLB4 (L-4.5, R-3.5, W-4.0, S-4.0) to get additional 5 points.

regarding timelines, the FSW programme is on till April 30th 2015 as per Ministerial instructions mentioned in Canadian gazette and also 2172 NOC is extremely stone cold. So you can apply in December 2014.
