USEFULL INFO

-my ecas status is medicle received
-i paid RPRF fee online and i had receipt of fee and i also send it to my visa office
-is their anyone who can able to login in ECAS by RPRF receipt number. so we can know our fee is attach with our application
-because i dont understand how RPRF online payment and our application are linked

so warried about this issue

I do not think you can use RPRF receipt number to log in to ECAS. Nonetheless, I will check and get back to you.

The receipt number they need in ECAS is of processing fee.

You might have written your UCI number on the print out of the receipt, that how they will know who paid the RPRF. In addition, you also include the original request letter in the package you send them back (including RPRF, PCC, meds acknowledgement). That letter has application number top right corner.

EDIT: I stand corrected. You can use RPRF receipt number to log into ECAS. However, I can't do it yet as my courier has either not reached (Bloody India Post ) or they have not linked it to my file as yet. +1 for a very useful thought though.

fund maintenance

Hi friends!

I have one query regarding maintaining bank balance. We have already provided the fund statement that was issued by the bank. Now I intend to make some investments since there is no point in keeping the money in bank @4-6%.

Is it okay if I use this money for buying shares or taking policies etc and utilise some part of money. If i use this money, the fund that needs to be maintained according to the requirement will not be met.

Pls advise on the fund maintenance.

I plane to apply in mid November, when I finish with ielts exam. I have two options for eligible occupation. 1st NOC 2171 Information systems analysts and consultants, and second is NOC 2172 Database analysts and data administrators.
Which of these two options is better? Where I have a better chance?

Validity of PCC after leaving country

My PCC from USA has date March 12, 2014 on it and my application dispatch date is June 26, and the receive date is June 30, 2014.

A link on CIC website says that "The PCC certificate must be issued no more than three months before you apply."

Does it mean that the PCC I got is not valid because it was released before 3 months of receive date?

Do I need to apply for the new one.

Note : I came from USA last year in December and residing in India since then.

Liquid investments are equally acceptable, just ensure that you have adequate funds throughout the process.

Yes, you can prepare from home. It is not too complicated if you have your basic education in English. If not, it might help if you go through a coaching class. generally the material provided is adequate for the test.
