Hi forummates

I am June 6th applicant. As i was going thru the posts i saw June 11th getting PER mails. I haven't got PER mail neither my DD got encashed. Is PER mail or DD encashment speed of CIC depends upon NOC which once has applied to. as i applied under NOC 2132.
If file gets rejected at this stage do the CIC send some mail to notify the applicant? I am hopeful bt the delay is making me anxious...... :'(

anxiety is understandable. But necessary to have patience now.

Yes Cardsman. My application was received on 9th May & my second line in ECAs was updated on 24th September, 2014. Also, by Grace of LORD Almighty, I have received MR+RPRF+PCC request from London VO. trust this helps & increase your hopes!! stay positive!!

Has anyone whose application was received in the first 2 weeks of May received MR or Interview Call? Also please advise if your ECAS status says something different from "we received your application for permanent residence on May 7, 2014".

Are you saying that people whose applications got delivered in May already have their PR visas?

Yes more than a DOZEN applicants, check the spreadsheet. Mostly from CPC-Ottawa VO and the applicants from Canada or USA. Mostly 1st week of May applicants

My spouse wears a headscarf very religiously. Are headscarves allowed in CIC photos? If photo is showing face, forehead & ears and just hair are covered, will CIC be ok with it. Has anyone's application been rejected due to headscarf in photo? I have seen the Visa requirements photo guide & according to that headscarves are allowed. So looking for some clarity regarding this issue. Thanks.

What more clarity than CIC documents.
Please take the CIC Document to a good photographer.

But the stats apparently say that Passport was requested and PR Visa is issued!? Infact can see some people have landed in canada already?

This is one of the limitations with the use of DD compare to CC.
You have to wait for another few days to see if your DD will be encashed.
Be hopeful and you should hear from them very soon.
All the best.

the pros of dd far outweigh those of cc. Hence this limitation of dd can be lived with. It is better to get a delayed response in case of dd rather than application getting rejected altogether for cc payment issues.

My package arrived on 10 june and i used CC. but till now. I have got nothing on charging.

Hey man,

Im an 8th May Applicant at LVO. ECAS status only shows the first line... Really not able to figure out how they are operating and the criteria for updating the second line in ECAS. Guess we'll just have to wait.

THERE ARE SOME PENDING FILE OF MAY APPLICANTS WHAT DOES THAT MEANS...
ARE THOSE FILES REJECTED...AS NO PER IS ISSUED TO THEM..
