Very recently came to know about Canada FSWP and I am qualified for PR visa (68 points). I am I am planning to apply for NOC 2172 by End of Oct 2014 ( For preparing package, it will take 20-30 days for me). Please let me know NOC 2172 cap will be open till that date i.e., 25th Oct 2014?

You will be fine as the total number of apps received for 2172 as per the last update is only 65. Good Luck!

2172 will be there for you in OCT considering current CAP undate and application status in spreadsheet..

Hi everyone,

For anyone who is applying from USA or ever lived in US and need to get a PPC i.e from FBI, I would just to start applying early and not wait till the Medical Request since from Sep 7th the FBI has updated their web page with the below info:

"On September 7, 2014, CJIS installed a new IT system. As as result of this installation, we are experiencing delays in processing. Please be assured that each issue is being identified and resolved as quickly as possible, but at this time we anticipate processing time for an Identity History Summary to be approximately 12 weeks. Allow additional time for mail delivery. We respectfully request that you refrain from calling to check on the status of your request prior to 12 weeks."

Since when we get the Medical & PCC request the CIC gives only 60 Days to reply back, I'm in the similar situation got the request on Sep9th and I applied for the PCC from FBI in the same week. So looks like I have to reply back with only Medical and PCC from india before Nov 1st week and say that I'm waiting for FBI report and I'm sure that it would delay the process by a month or so.

No.. Your calculation does not make sense.. I have already explained the calculation during last CAP updates... Its not 1 week update... Although the CAP update happens weekly but the PER date is increasing be 2 to 3 days only... So, 2171 may reach its CAP by end of July only...

Whoa, now that is a HUUUGGGGE difference. I did not understand what you meant by the PER date is increasing to be 2 to 3 days only? Also, isn't the count 311, the no. of applications CIC deemed to be "complete applications" not how many applicants got the PER? So how I am interpreting the weekly CIC update is that 311 applicants for 2171 have completed applications/had their cc charged or draft payment completed and based on the SS they are currently charging payment for June 9th applicants so we are already at June 9, and only 311 applicants.

So let's say next week the CIC update shows 351 and the SS shows they are charging payments for June 14 applicants, they I interpret that were are now up to Jun 14 priority date and 351 out of 1000 cap. Is my interpretation wrong?

Hi Guys... for some reason no one is answering my query...?
I recieved MR request on 15th Sep from Delhi office along with RPRF and PCC
I did my medicals on 22nd Sep and my ECAS Status got updated on 24th exactly after 2 days of my Medical exam that my MR has been recieved.is this norrmal? or does it take time for NDVO or CIC to update MR status..?
I paid my RPRF fees on 30th Sep... however when i was paying i did not get any option where i could update my State details i.e. Andhra Pradesh i got only to update my country as India, i just left that column blank and updated the pin code of Andhra pradesh.. and paid the RPRF fees of $490... did i do the right thing although i got the reciept of payment?
I need to do my PCC now after which do i need to courier the photocopies all the 3 docs to NDVO office address... please help me understand here seniors..?

There is a form you can download, either get fingerprints done by yourself (not recommended as FBI is very particular with Finger pronts) or get it done through a finger printing expert. Refer to this link. http://www.indiafingerprinting.com/contactus.html

Once you have the finger prints you can mail the application along with payment to FBI.
